Listen to One World Symphony perform Adagietto, part of Mahler’s Symphony No. 5.

Be the hero you've always known you can be. Let your inner Superman fly. And soar on the wings of symphony.

Of all of Gustav Mahler’s works, his fifth symphony may perhaps speak the most to the wide range of the human experience, from our deepest lows to our most stunning heights. From marital love to near death, from the simple pleasures of nature to the greatest challenges of the human spirit, come live the vivid joys and passions of Mahler’s Symphony No. 5 with One World Symphony. One World Symphony’s performance of Mahler’s fifth symphony will also employ the composer’s original orchestral seating as rarely experienced today.

Continuing its decade-long tradition of engaging audiences, composer-conductor Sung Jin Hong will invite audience members to participate in music-making. And while you’re experiencing — and participating in — some of the most uplifting music Mahler ever wrote, you’ll also be contributing to a great charity: proceeds from this concert will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York.

Be a hero! Make a difference in our community and leap with One World Symphony in celebrating our tenth season through the miraculous music of Mahler.
