1. Are any of your family members musicians? If
so, what do they do?
I am the only "musician" in the family. my parents both sing around the house
and my brother is a visual artist.
2. What has been the highlight of your One World
Symphony career to date?
my first performance with one world was singing Don Ottavio in their
2003/2004 season finale.
3. What would you say is your favourite piece
of music?
La Traviata
4. What's the best thing about One World Symphony?
the final performance of our 2004/2005 season opener with The Magic Flute and Falstaff.
we were all SO connected to one another. this rarely happens.
5. What music do you listen to in the car or subway?
mainly opera, however, I have this thing for '80s music.
6. What is your favourite drink?
water
7. What was the most recent book you read?
The Odyssey
8. When you do have some free time, how do you
relax?
I watch TV and listen to my records.
9. Why do you continue to perform with One World
Symphony when you can perform with other ensembles that would
offer more financial benefits?
when you come together for the simple purpose of serving the music, the experience
is more rewarding.
10. If you had the opportunity to time travel,
when and where would you prefer to live?
Italy. the culture, the climate, the poeople, the opera
11. If you weren't a musician what would you be?
a soldier
12. Why would you recommend to other musicians
and public to participate with One World Symphony?
it is extremely special and rare to find so many young artists coming together
to make beautiful music, without collecting a paycheck, and then coming back
to experience it all over again.
13. What are your hobbies?
I am too busy trying to pay my rent
to have time off for a hobby. singing is my hobby and my craft.
